Testing & Analytics
What is analytical testing, and why does it matter here?
Laboratory measurement of what a sample actually is and how much of it is the intended compound — the basis of every lot record.
What are HPLC and mass spectrometry, and what can they establish?
HPLC separates a sample into its components to measure purity; mass spectrometry measures molecular mass to confirm identity.
What is the difference between identity testing, purity testing, and assay/content testing?
Identity confirms what the compound is; purity measures how clean the sample is; assay/content testing measures how much of it is present.
How do I read a chromatogram, and does 99% purity mean the vial contains 99% of its labeled amount?
A chromatogram shows peaks over time; retention time identifies a substance and peak area indicates relative amount. Purity is not the same measurement as fill content.
Which analytical tests does NuePharma actually use?
Every lot record documents an identity result and a purity result, with the specific method named on that lot's own record.
